Meet the Artist

Hi! I am Helen.

I'm a self taught creative artist living in Norfolk UK, with my husband Neil and dogs Finn and Margot.

I draw and paint in my tiny studio at home, which really started when the sport was on the TV at the weekends!

Inspired by our beautiful Norfolk skies and landscapes I create art using different types of media, but I specialise in bespoke animal and pet portraits.

I love using coloured and pastel pencils to create as much detail as I can bringing your ideas to life using your photos.

What makes me unique

As a family, we have always had pets, especially dogs and cats and I see so much expression in their faces.

I love the reflection in an eye, a nose that glistens, a droopy ear, or a tongue sticking out.

I really enjoy drawing the details. Coloured pencils are great for this, every tiny little hair can be seen.

If you can 'see' your pet in my final drawing, I have done a good job..
