Paint Party Pointers

  • Please try and arrive at least 15 minutes early to get signed in, tell me if you don’t want your photo taken for social media and get a drink and settle in.

  • I do provide aprons, or you can bring your own of course. Just so you know, I use water based acrylic paint so should it get on your clothes, it should wash off. But please, just be aware of this. Also, please don’t ingest the paint.

  • You will be going home with a canvas board on 30cms x 40cms. These can be hung straight up with command hooks, or if you want to frame them, then you will be looking for a ‘floating frame’ as you won’t need any glass.

  • I’ll break for 20 minutes at half time so you can top up and try the fabulous cakes.

  • I’ll send you a reminder email before your party and please let me know in advance if you have any specific dietary needs on receipt of that email.

Will I get my money back if I cancel?

Tickets are strictly non-refundable. No exceptions and all ticket sales are final.

If I cancel the date, another will be issued. If you can’t make the new date, I will refund your ticket price, or you can swap it for another party later.

 

What’s the minimum age?

The minimum age for paint and prosecco party participants is 18. I cannot be held responsible for the choice you make to drink and if you decide to drive after having consumed alcohol. Soft drinks will be available.

The minimum age for afternoon tea paint party participants is 15 unless stated. All participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket.

 

What does my ticket include?

The ticket price includes all supplies and refreshments, but please only consume food and drink supplied at the paint party. If you have specific dietary needs, let me know beforehand and I will do my utmost to accommodate you.

 

I’ve never painted before. Can I still attend?

Yes! As an experienced artist, I will take you through the painting step by step, show you how to mix colours and which brushes to use. It’s not an art lesson but a fun sociable experience.

 

What can I take home?

You only take home your completed canvas, all other equipment remains the property of Helen L Thomas-Artist. Additional canvases if required, will be charged at £10.

 

Is your venue an accessible venue?

Each venue is different and has different accessibility. Please get in touch with me first so we can chat through specific needs.

 

Terms & Conditions

  • Tickets are strictly non refundable.

  • Tickets may be transferred to another event within 3 months. £10 transfer fee is payable.

  • If you wish to sell or gift your ticket to someone else, please let the artist know or they maybe refused entry.

  • Latecomers, over 30 minutes will be refused entry as they will not be able to catch up the time and disruption to others will not be tolerated.

  • Any abuse will NOT be tolerated and disrupters will be asked to leave.

  • If the artist cancels the date, customers will be offered a refund or transfer of ticket to another event.

  • You may not consume your own food and drink at an event.
